About Us
About Stacy
My family [i.e. my mom, Colleen and older brother Chad] and I moved to Cape Town in 1995. I finished my schooling and went to UCT to study Psychology. After my undergraduate degree I moved to London for a year and did some travelling. I came home and studied my Honours and Masters in Research Psychology. I am currently working as monitoring and evaluation officer/researcher for an HIV/AIDS prevention programme aimed at youth. I enjoy arts & crafts and yoga.
About Jason
I'm from Cape Town and the favourite of four children. My siblings are Wayne, Danielle and Chad with mom Lucille. Studied some Engineering. Now I am working at Eskom and studying part time trying to finish a MSc in IT.
I enjoy walking our dogs, music production and gardening.
How We Met
We met through mutual friends and started dating while studying at UCT. We lived together in London and travelled in Europe. We have been together for 8 years.
The Proposal
When we got engaged

How it happened
We got engaged on our way to Addo Elephant park next to the oldest tree in the world called "The big tree" [not too creative!] in the Wilderness. It was very Lord of the Rings and rather romantic. We etched our names into the stump of a tree. Thereafter, Jason went down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
