About Kelly
Born in Durban, South Africa, Kelly is a very friendly and lively girl whose hobbies include socialising with her friends. After moving up the ranks of an interior design company in Johannesburg for 3 years, she moved to London with Kevin to join the rest of the rat race...
About Kevin
After finishing schooling at Damelin College, Kevin took up studying Interior Design, and since he did so well, followed that career path, working for a few major companies in Johannesburg. He then took the big leap and, after sharing a flat with Kelly for more than a year, moved to London to pursue the better life...
How We Met
Kelly met Kevin at a crowded lively bar by the name of Cobblestones, in Monte Casino, courteousy of their mutual friend Shereen. Within a week they had fallen in love and, after 4 months, moved in together - this saved them both petrol and rent since they never spent a night apart! It proved to be the best idea they had both had in a long time! After more than a year of living together, they both moved to London to join the rest of South Africa...

How it happened
Since Kevin's grandfather was Scottish, they spent the Dec 2006 Xmas holidays with Kevin's folks on the shores of Loch Melfort in Argyll. On Christmas morning, whilst the folks went to the local village church for the morning service, Kevin packed a picnic with cheese, wine and biscuits, and they made for a rocky outcrop on the loch...
Kelly had no idea that Kevin was about to propose, since he had clearly said he wanted to personally ask her father for Kelly's hand in marriage, but had not had the chance when Kelly's father had visited briefly in November.
But the cheeky rascal had!
Kevin was so nervous, he had been glugging the whisky all morning, yet Kelly was still oblivious!
Even though it was cold and damp (being Scotland), it was truly surprising and romantic.
For once Kelly was at a loss for words, and actually had to ask Kevin if she had said 'yes' yet...
