About Us
About Taryn
I am an Account Manager for an advertising agency. I like to have fun but am also very serious about getting jobs done properly and in time. I also tend to work long hours on certain days. I love spending time at home with Brad, my soon to be step-daughter Skyla (who lives with us) and our daschund Tabasco.
About Brad
Brad is the Creative Director for the same advertising agency that I work for. He is fun and out-going and everyone loves him. He has a 5 and a half year old daughter who lives with us and whom we both love to spend time with. Although he is fun and loves to be different (his T-shirts are his personal trademark) he is also a very hard worker and also tends to work long hours on certain days.
How We Met
I came to the agency I currently work at for an interview and to cut a long story short - my interviewer is now my fiance :)

How it happened
We went to Dunes in Hout Bay - Cape Town for dinner and half way through Brad asked where we should go on our next holiday. I teased "Mauritius - to get married" to which he replied, "not giving much time now are you!" - I then told him I was only pulling his leg and he then said, "well I suppose if we were to go to Mauritius in December... one of these would come in handy (pulling out the ring)! - I couldnt believe my eyes and the first thing I said was "are you serious?" to which he replied "yes" as he put the ring on my finger. I then laughed and said "but you didnt even ask me!" to which he replied " oh - well will you?" and of course I said "Yes!"

More details
We are planning on getting married on the beach in Mauritius - no shoes allowed! It will be very intimate as only our closest friends and family will be there. We want something simple yet elegant and focused on us. 20th December 2007 (Le Canonnier Hotel)
