About Petro
I work in the wine industry - would love to make my very own wine some day. I am currently the Wine Tourism Manager for a winery in Franschhoek. I love cooking, singing and generally spending quality time with my loved ones. I believe in spoiling the ones close to me as much as possible because tomorrow might never come. I show every emotion I feel. Some say it is bad manners, Johan loves it - he says that way he knows exactly where he stands. My first love is Jesus Christ and Johan knows that. He is fine with this, as Jesus is also his first love!
About Johan
I have read many of the websites on weddingsa and everyone thinks that their fiance is the best person in the world - granted: each one has someting special. 7 Years ago, I started making a list of all attributes I want in my husband. I described him to the Lord (it was a letter to God) and explained what I wanted. I wanted a man who WANTS to get married a man who is not afraid to help with everyday chores in and around the house a man that is not afraid to explain how he feels a man that will be able to look after me financially and someone that will spoil me and love me for who I am (i have always had an issue with my weight) I wanted a man that loves Jesus Christ above everything and a man that respects his parents and the people around him a man that is successful in all he does because he believes in himself and he had to be taller than me.
After 3 years of being friends (NOTHING ELSE!), my eyes opened and I saw the man of my dreams!

How it happened
I came home from work after a late shift (12h00 - 20h00) and my friend, Celeste, and Johan came over for coffee. Eventually Celeste left and Johan said that he had something to give me because he could not wait any longer. He slipped the ring on my finger and after staring into my eyes for quite a while, asked if I would walk the road of life with him. Of course I said YES!!!
