Philip is the typical tall, dark and handsome guy who loves his sport, family and friends. He is gentle, kind and loving. He is my soulmate and companion in life. He is my one and only!

We worked together as Restaurant Managers at La Romantica, Stellenbosch.

How it happened
Philip waited until several minutes before midnight of New Year's Eve 2007 to propose. We were at my parents' home, when he lead me down the passage and went down on one knee to pop the question. I was stunned as it was totally unexpected and almost forgot to say "YES!"
