About Adele
Even though I was born in Rhodesia, I'm a Pretoria gal and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am involved in ice hockey, scuba diving and golf, but really enjoy most sports, yes hun, love rugby too. My animals are an important part of who I am and I am blessed to have them in my life :)
The last couple of years with Pieter have been my most happy and content. The future can only be filled with laughter and endless love with him by my side...
About Pieter
I was born and raised in Johannesburg. Our family moved to Strand (Cape Town) in 1995, where we've been living ever since. Rugby is a huge passion of mine (been playing since 2nd grade), and I also dabble in Golf. My family is especially important to me, we are closer than most families out there. I love animals, especially those of the 'canine type'.. :)
How We Met
We officially met on the afternoon of the 17th July 2005 at the News Cafe in Greenpoint, Cape Town. The chemistry between us finally prevailed on the 30th of March 2006 when our relationship became of a more permanent nature and culminated on our engagement on the 23rd of September 2007.

How it happened
I proposed to Adele (luckily she accepted) on the 23rd of September 2007 at the Misty Waves Boutique Hotel in Hermanus, South Africa. Dancing in the room to the tune of Phil Collins' Groovy Kinda Love softened Adele up for the surprise question. It really was the happiest moment of our lives.

Our beautiful chapel, built in true gothic style, gave us goosebumps. The cross shape and charming, stylized facade of the little chapel resonates deep symbolic, spiritual and sentimental meaning from the inside and out. The setting might just as well have been that of a rustic French cathedral dating back to the 14th century. Reminiscent of that magical time of chivalry, virtue and true romance... Truly a place where everlasting memories are made! Our Reception Venue, KleinKaap brings Pieter\'s home town of Strand, Cape Town to Pretoria for the wedding :) Kleinkaap was built in 1930 as the original farm house of Clubview. Inspired by the fairest vintage Cape, the gracious Kleinkaap Conference and Wedding Venue exudes beauty, romance and elegance. Kleinkaap is the dream place of many writers and artists. It is an epitome of love. A chance to eternalise that special day of promise.
